School is just about done for the year, which means summer meals are here! At the Coalition Against Hunger, we work to ensure kids have access to nutritious meals and snacks while school is out by connecting families with Summer Meal sites in their neighborhood.

We're connecting families to free summer meals for kids and teens with our Summer Meals Map and Summer Meals Hotline at 215-770-4659

Our Summer Meals Map is updated weekly, and all of the sites included are open to kids ages 18 and under. No registration, ID, or proof of income required.

Our Summer Meals Hotline is live Monday-Thursday from 9am-5pm and on Friday from 9am-4pm. Callers can leave messages after hours for follow-up from a Coalition team member.

What is the Summer Meals Program?

Summer Meals is a federally funded, state administered program that provides free meals to children so they may receive the same high-quality nutrition during school vacations that they get in school, during the school year. Program administrators distribute food to community members and organizations, and are reimbursed for the cost of the meal. Community partners operate summer meals sites, where the meals are distributed to kids ages 18 and under.
