After the Supreme Court struck down Roe, millions of people across the country were left in a nightmarish reality where their own bodily autonomy was in question.
Like a lot of other states, Kentucky’s trigger law effectively bans abortion outright, forcing people to leave the state to access essential health care.
It’s total government overreach, and it’s wrong.
To finally codify Roe and protect abortion access nationwide, we need a pro-choice majority in the House. That means flipping red seats and defending blue ones like mine.
Will you please chip in $25 to my campaign to retake the House next year and secure a Democratic majority that will protect access to safe, legal abortion care?
Kentucky Republicans tried to amend the state constitution last year to explicitly say that abortion is not protected in the Bluegrass State.
Kentucky voters overwhelmingly voted that down, showing that despite the political leanings of the general electorate, there is a majority of Kentuckians who want to see their rights protected — not stripped away.
I’m not going to lie to you: Passing legislation to protect abortion access nationwide won’t be easy.
But it will be downright impossible until we flip the House. Can I count on you to pitch in $25 to keep KY-03 blue and elect a pro-choice majority in the House?
Thank you for not backing down from this fight.
