I am writing to you with a heavy heart and deep concern for our dear colleague Caroline Farrow, who has been falsely charged -once again- with stalking a transgender man.

In just 24 hours, Caroline will be going through a crucial hearing tomorrow, Thursday 8th June, 2023, that could be disastrous for her and her whole family.

Caught completely off guard, she has been given a shockingly short notice of just two days for this hearing, rather than the standard 14 days. That's why we're in a hurry and really need your help right now to back Caroline in this tough spot.

Caroline could be stripped of her right  to communicate with her loved ones, her job, and her privacy. The authorities are trying to silence her and control her life in unimaginable ways. This is a terrifying situation that no one should ever face.

• Her communications will lack privacy, as police can request to read her emails anytime. She'll also be prohibited from deleting any internet browsing history.
• She'll only be allowed one phone and one internet-accessible device, with mandatory monitoring software.
• Police could enter her home at any time between 8am and 8pm to check her compliance.

In addition, she's been given just 2 days' notice for the first hearing - which is tomorrow-, instead of the usual 14 days.
