If Ron DeSantis’ book is any evidence, the Florida Governor clearly thinks his policies are a godsend. In reality, DeSantis’ policies have been a disaster for Florida.
After DeSantis feuded with Disney because of their opposition to Florida’s discriminatory “Don’t Say Gay” bill, Disney decided to withdraw a $1 billion investment that would have added 2,000 jobs to Florida’s economy. News flash: damaging your state’s economy isn’t an accomplishment.
DeSantis has targeted trans and LGBTQ+ youth, banned instruction on Black history in schools, and signed a dangerous abortion ban into law that will put millions of Florida patients at risk. And just recently, his administration exploited asylum seekers in a disgusting political stunt by sending them on a private plane and dropping them off at a Sacramento church — California AG Rob Bonta is now investigating.
Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and we can't stop now – will you chip in today?
