John, give me three chances to explain why your donation today is so critical:

1. Abortion rights are under attack all over the country. From state houses to court rooms to pharmacies, extremists are trying to limit safe access to reproductive care everywhere they can. We have to stand up and fight back before it’s too late.
2. We need to flip the House in 2024. Kevin McCarthy and the far-right have turned the House of Representatives into a circus. We need to get the body back into Democratic control by electing more women and young people who will get to work creating necessary change. 
3. Our fundraising has slowed down recently. Donations in response to emails like this one are the only way we’re able to raise the resources needed to power our work. When fundraising hits a slump, we have to start having tough conversations about what candidates or advocacy work we can no longer afford to support.
