Jack, the National Rifle Association (NRA), a governmentally classified non-profit, has not been playing by the rules.
Explosive investigative reports
and an 18-month Senate probe have illuminated the group's troubling misuse of their tax-exempt status. They've been pocketing millions, underwriting trips in violation of non-profit guidelines, and even facilitating the infiltration of foreign agents into our political system.
This is a clear violation of federal laws governing charitable organizations.

A Senate investigation in 2019 revealed that the NRA underwrote trips to Russia for its officers, and collaborated with Russians to infiltrate American politics as they sought to influence the 2016 election. Moreover, there are serious allegations of the NRA siphoning millions of dollars to executives and vendors, and additional actions that violate federal laws governing charities. The NRA, by flagrantly abusing its tax-exempt status, has demonstrated a blatant disregard for the legal and ethical boundaries that should guide nonprofit entities.
This isn’t just about gun control; it's about fairness and holding organizations accountable for their actions. The NRA's flagrant financial misconduct is not only unethical but also a stark display of how influential organizations can misuse their power. We cannot stand by while this entity continues to enjoy the benefits of its tax-exempt status under false pretenses.
It's time to hold the NRA accountable. They broke the rules and now their tax-exempt status must end. Let's send a powerful message that misuse of power and financial exploitation will not be tolerated.
