When people think of Social Security supporters, they usually picture seniors who get their checks every month. And it’s true, seniors do love Social Security. But so do young people.

Young people are some of the best advocates for our Social Security system. They’re the ones Republicans want to make work ‘til they die. That’s why we’re asking President Biden to bring an intergenerational perspective to his administration. Bring young people to the table!

We’re proud to collaborate with our friends at Blue Future, who do incredible youth organizing, on this effort. Their coalition has a set of concrete actions that will make sure that young people’s concerns are heard in the White House.

And even if young people aren’t ready to start collecting Social Security, they’ve got their eyes focused on politicians like Kevin McCarthy who want to slash their earned benefits.
