Getting Green Bay and elected officials on Board to my Campaign
I’m in Green Bay this weekend for the Democratic State Convention. It’s an opportunity to introduce myself to elected officials like Governor Evers and Senator Baldwin.
Kyle’s speech to the rural caucus.
In my speech I wanted to highlight my rural origins. I grew up with cows, chickens, a horse, rabbits, pheasants, a turkey, among other furry and feathered animals. It’s experiences like this that shaped who I am today. I was that kid that grew up wanting to see the world, but kept my humble roots in mind as I opened my perspectives to different ways of being and living on this huge planet. I’m running to make sure all kids, even rural ones, have the opportunity to pursue their own American Dream.
I truly believe in a having a growth mindset, but also recognize the traditions that bring meaning to the everyday. Growing my own food is something I look forward to every spring and summer. What traditions do you keep from your childhood?
