As a freshman Congresswoman who won with just 51.1% of the vote, I have to say the fact I’m under attack doesn’t really surprise me.
The Democrats in Washington see my seat as an easy pickup to restore their majority.
But this is about so much more than just a majority to me.
This is about serving you, giving you a better quality of life, and restoring beauty and peace to Oregon’s 5th district.

I think the majority of politicians forget that districts like mine aren’t just chess pieces in some game.
They’re communities and homes filled with real people who are really impacted by the decisions made in Washington.
But I haven’t forgotten that.
I haven’t forgotten that you elected me to fix our mounting crime and drug problem, fight for parental rights in schools, and prioritize American citizens by securing our border.
And I’m working hard every day to get these things done for you, friend.
But that doesn’t leave me with a lot of time to fundraise or engage with these political attacks.
