John: It's 2023, and we still haven't had a woman president. But GOP extremists like Donald Trump, Ron DeSantis, and Mike Pence are running without consequences for their actions. What gives?

Could it be that far-right Republicans are more rational than grassroots Democratic women? Could it be that American voters just aren’t ready to see bold, compassionate, and qualified women in power? Could it be that Democratic women just don’t belong in politics?

While Trump and other GOP radicals are using their power to distract us, divide us, and scapegoat our most vulnerable neighbors, Democratic women are fighting to strengthen our democracy and put people first.

But we’ve also seen the massive obstacles they face including vicious smear campaigns, junk polls, and outdated assumptions.
