Former President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that he had been informed by his legal team about a federal grand jury indictment against him. Trump made the announcement through his social media platform, Truth Social, stating that he was summoned to appear before the David W. Dyer Federal Building and United States Courthouse in Miami, Florida.

According to sources familiar with the matter, a confidential source shared with the FBI during a June 2020 interview that President Joe Biden had allegedly received a payment of $5 million from an executive of the Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings. The revelation comes at a time when Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, served on the board of Burisma. The information was reportedly documented in an FBI-generated FD-1023 form, which detailed a potential criminal bribery scheme involving the then-Vice President and a foreign national, with the aim of influencing U.S. policy decisions.
