Folks, have a second to chat?

When I first followed in my father's footsteps and began my career in public service nearly 20 years ago, I made a commitment to hear from as many of the people I've sworn to represent as possible. Truthfully, splitting my time between our beautiful state of New Mexico and the U.S. Capitol has made this challenging. But I've worked hard to make sure that I maintain a truly open line of communication.

Unfortunately, it's just not possible to meet every single member of my grassroots team – even though I wish I could! That's why I've had my team create online strategy surveys for supporters like you. These surveys have been an incredibly effective way to hear about the issues facing your family, rally support for Democratic priorities and strategize for the future.

And today, friend, I need to hear from you again. Experts are already saying that Democrats are facing a brutal election map next year, and if we're going to defend the Senate against the odds a second time in a row, I'm going to need your help creating a winning strategy.
