This week, Republicans launched their most extreme attack yet on reproductive freedom -- an amendment to the Iowa constitution.

You heard that right, the Republican-led Iowa House of Representatives wants to amend our state constitution to eliminate the fundamental right to access abortion care.

We cannot afford to waste a minute organizing. Last month, Governor Reynolds publicly endorsed a constitutional amendment stripping people of their right to make their own reproductive choices and control their own destiny.

I believe that politicians should have no say in conversations between a patient and their doctor. It's a belief that Republicans leading our state don't seem to share.
