Dear Friend,
Right after February’s earthquakes struck in Turkey, Dr. Vlatko Uzevski, Project HOPE’s Regional Manager in the Balkans, was on the ground to help. Last month, he sent you an e-mail about the grief, loss and trauma he witnessed as survivors mourned their loved ones and struggled to recover.
But in the midst of crisis, Vlatko also saw HOPE: a volunteer wrapping a warm blanket around a shivering toddler … a doctor tending to a child’s injuries … a nurse placing a newborn baby in an incubator donated by Project HOPE.
Compassionate people like you are an integral part of this lifesaving work. People in Turkey, Ukraine and other communities in crisis need our support to survive, recover and rebuild. So, we’ve extended our HOPE and Health Matching Gift Challenge until June 15. Please make your contribution today, when every $1 you donate still becomes $2.
