10,000 a day.

That’s the new record-breaking number of illegal immigrants pouring across our southern border. ( [link removed] ) This isn’t an accident, this crisis is the direct result of willful negligence by our Secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas.

Mayorkas has sat on his hands, neglecting to enforce our immigration laws while the communities along our southern border have deteriorated into chaos. It’s not just border communities – the drugs that his negligence has permitted to enter our country unchecked are present and destroying lives right here in the 6 th District of Virginia.

Republicans have called it out & demanded resignations over, and over, and over with no results – it’s time to act.

It is time to impeach Secretary Mayorkas.

Allowing Mayorkas to maintain a role ostensibly entrusted with providing for the security of our homeland is a farce. His actions have resulted in the exact opposite – our border is less secure than ever.

Along with fellow conservatives like Chip Roy and Andy Biggs I am working to compile evidence of the failures at our southern border to present to the American people and my colleagues in Congress. I am hopeful that hearings will be held soon that will lay out these facts for my colleagues and the American people.
