With right-wing extremists escalating attacks on the LGBTQIA+ community, being loud, proud, and celebrating our diversity is more important than ever. In Solidarity, Debbie -----------FWD---------- Happy Pride Month! Every June, we celebrate the generations of trailblazing LGBTQIA+ Americans who’ve fought for the right to live authentically and love who they choose. We’ve made tremendous progress on LGBTQI+ rights during my time in office, but right now, those rights are under constant attack by right-wing extremists. According to Human Rights Campaign, there were more than 500 anti-LGBTQIA+ state bills introduced during the last legislative season. And, MAGA Republicans like Donald Trump, Majorie Taylor Greene, and Ron DeSantis keep escalating their attacks on the LGBTQIA+ community. These attacks are dangerous and wrong. So this June, let’s celebrate our diversity and share our stories, but let’s also renew our commitment to fighting for an America where everyone, regardless of their identity, is treated equally. Please add your name right now and join me in showing support for the LGBTQIA+ community. Happy Pride! Debbie Stabenow U.S. Senator, Michigan ![]()
