INTRODUCING THE FAMILY ACT

Kirsten has once again introduced the FAMILY Act to finally establish national paid leave for all workers. This legislation would have incredible benefits for both our economy and working families. That's why 69% of Republicans, 77% of Independents, and 90% of Democrats support passing the FAMILY Act! Kirsten won't stop working until she gets it done.

KIRSTEN RALLIES WITH THE WGA

Kirsten joined members of the Writers Guild of America in Times Square to support their efforts. Kirsten is a champion for workers and has been fighting to pass the Protecting the Right to Organize Act, legislation that would strengthen workers' rights to organize and bargain.

KIRSTEN RECEIVES STATESMANSHIP AWARD

Kirsten was honored to receive the U.S. Association of Former Members of Congress (FMC) Statesmanship Award. She firmly believes that we can find solutions when we work together to build common ground – and her track record of results proves it!

FIXING THE PUBLIC SERVICE LOAN PROGRAM

After introducing a bill with Sen. Kaine, Kirsten successfully lobbied President Biden to use his executive authority to fix our broken Public Service Loan Program. Since then, nearly 50,000 New York public servants – teachers, nurses, police, firefighters, and other – have received almost $3.2 BILLION in student loan relief, the second highest of any state in the country.
