It’s 2023 – women should be making the same amount of money as men
John –

It's 2023 – but women are still being paid less for their work.

Women, on average, earn 92 cents for every dollar a man earns – and it's even worse for Black and Hispanic women. This is unacceptable, and action must be taken to address the gender pay gap once and for all. Our elected officials must work harder to ensure women are earning their fair share in the workplace. Equal pay for equal work needs to go beyond a slogan.

In Congress, I am committed to working tirelessly towards eliminating the wage gap, and ensuring that all individuals performing the same job receive equal pay, regardless of their gender identity, race, religion, sexual orientation, or any other differences.

If you agree that women deserve equal pay for equal work, add your name to our petition now calling on the modernization of the Equal Pay Act.

The original Equal Pay Act was passed 60 years ago. However, countless women continue to face unequal pay for equal work long after its enactment. A woman starting her career should not have to enter the workforce fearing her work will be valued less than her coworkers.

Stand with me in demanding Congress work towards closing the wage gap once and for all. Sign our petition today.

Thanks for stepping up. Let's create change together.
