There’s still plenty of time to complete your application! If you’ve been thinking about applying but are having trouble getting started, try putting on your favorite song or watching an inspiring video. (These are some of my favorites: a Kid President pep talk, a little Beyonce, or a Gordon Ramsey moment.) 

What happens at Academy 201? 

Arena Academy 201 is held over Zoom Events starting mid-day on Friday, July 21 and runs from around 11 a.m. ET to 7 p.m. ET on Saturday and Sunday. We spend time exploring our leadership strengths, equipping participants with new skills like budgeting and giving feedback, all while building community. There are plenary sessions and some opportunities to choose your own adventure based on your interests.

Throughout our time together, we’ll hear from expert trainers and speakers and have time to connect in small groups. There will be “aha moments,” newly formed inside jokes, and space to build your confidence as you take the next step in your political career. 

Cost and Scholarships: 
There is no cost to apply. If accepted, the training costs $200 and scholarships for attendance, childcare, and technology are available. We never want cost to be a barrier to access.
