John, all members of the LGBTQ+ community want is to live in a safe and loving environment - NOT live in fear of our lives everyday. This Pride month, that’s what we should be able to focus on.

And honestly, Pride is a celebration and a time to be proud of who you are. But the far-right is targeting LGBTQ+ students with their bigoted lies and cruel policies just to silence our community. It’s despicable.

That’s why it’s so important that we protest every anti-LGBTQ+ policy and politician that tries to suppress the rights of the queer community – but we can’t do it alone.
