Welcoming Little Angels
The Soldiers' Angels team in Charleston helped welcome the newest members of local Veteran families by supporting the recent VA baby shower events at both the Charleston and Myrtle Beach VAs. The event supports Veterans who are expecting or recently gave birth.
In total, Soldiers' Angels supported seventy-five mothers and babies with gift bags full of goodies! Each bag contained items handmade by the Soldiers' Angels Sewing and Crafting Team, store-bought bath items, Mary Kay items, and our favorite--a Soldiers' Angels onesie!
The families were excited to receive these wonderful items!
Interested in welcoming new bundles of joy? Volunteer with Soldiers' Angels! Virtual opportunities to support include joining the Sewing and Crafting Team or the Baby Brigade Team. You can also look for in-person volunteer opportunities near you on our VA Map!

ONLY FIVE MARATHON BIBS LEFT!!
Our Team is Almost Complete...
Will You Be One of Our Final Five Members?
The Soldiers' Angels Race Team is almost filled!! We had 10 bibs for the 10K which have all been snagged... and we have 15 bibs for the Marathon, of which 10 have been snagged. That means we are looking for the final five members of our Marine Corps Marathon Team!!
To join, you must commit to raising $500 for Soldiers' Angels. But that's really the easy part compared to actually running 26.2 miles... all you have to do is create a fundraising page through our platform and share it with your friends and family. Let them know why you're running and why you chose to support Soldiers' Angels along the way.
There may even be some fun and friendly fundraising challenges between our runners along the way! Like the recent challenge between Amy and Alan that resulted in them both ice skating in ridiculous costumes—a pickle and an inflatable unicorn to be exact!

Meet the Soldiers' Angels Race Team
You've probably heard by now that Soldiers' Angels was selected as an official charity partner for the Marine Corps Marathon this October. Well, we've been assembling quite the team of runners who have all been rallying around one of our own, Tania, as she continues her journey recovering from alcoholism. One of her goals upon recovery was to run in the Marine Corps Marathon—so our team is by her side training for the big event! Meet just some of the members of our soon-to-be-filled 25-person Marathon/10K team.
