As a Mercy Corps supporter, you hear from us about the
work we do around the world. You know how quickly we must assess and
deploy during a crisis. And you’ve read the profiles of our emergency
responders — the teams who rush to a crisis zone and are trained to make
quick decisions about what people need the most.

So, have you ever wondered if you would be able to use your
decision-making skills to help people during a catastrophe?

If you’ve ever thought about what it would be like to be on the ground as
an emergency responder, [ [link removed] ]you can test your instincts with our
interactive simulation. You can help Karla plan the response in Puerto
Rico after Hurricane Maria, or Manenji in DR Congo as he deploys a team to
help families during a deadly Ebola outbreak. See whether you know what to
pack in your backpack as you prepare to help people in these moments of
crisis.

When our teams arrive in an area that’s been affected by a disaster, their
backpacks are full of key items to help community members in need, items
like water filters, solar lanterns and emergency cash vouchers.

Supplies like these help prevent the spread of disease in communities,
light up the darkness to help people travel safely at night, and help
families get food to eat and the tools they need to rebuild their homes.

crisis.

Every time our crisis teams respond to an emergency around the world,
supporters like you are part of what helps us to do our lifesaving work. Thank
you for being there with us to help people in their greatest moments of need.

In gratitude,
