The Republican Party just attacked Ayanna, Elizabeth Warren, and our entire movement. They called the fight for justice, equity, and big, structural change “extreme.” »
There’s nothing “extreme” about putting power back in the hands of people. There is nothing “extreme” about fighting to ensure that no one lives in poverty and no one is forced to choose between paying for their prescriptions or making the rent.
The GOP is attacking Ayanna and Elizabeth because they are terrified of our movement’s collective power and the progress we are making together.
But we’re going to continue building this movement, to elect Elizabeth Warren, the best president that money can’t buy, and continue making progress for all of our communities.
Together, we are in a fight for the soul of our democracy. At a time when so many people find their lives threatened and their dreams denied, we need bold, compassionate leaders who put power back in the hands of people. That’s why Ayanna endorsed Elizabeth Warren for President.
We need to make sure that our movement has the resources to fight back against attacks just like this one from Republicans and those who seek to divide and belittle us.
