We want to wish a very happy Pride Month to the LGBTQ+ community throughout Beaver and Allegheny Counties!

Pride is about freedom: The freedom to love who you love and to live as you are. It’s also a celebration of the many LGBTQ+ activists throughout history who fought for those freedoms, especially the trailblazers that called western Pennsylvania home.

But the fight for freedom is far from over. The radical right has been chipping away at those freedoms, punishing transgender children and their parents for seeking life-saving gender affirming care, and making LGBTQ+ folks live in fear.

Chris often talks about fighting for our common good – and that means for all of us. He’s not afraid to stand up to Republicans when they come for our LGBTQ+ community.

We need leaders like Chris who will fight for our freedoms If you’re able, please chip in to Chris’s re-election campaign today to show your support.

Thank you, and once again, Happy Pride Month!
