John,
We need to ACT NOW to stop an authoritarian takeover of Virginia — and the rollback of women’s reproductive rights — on June 20th. That's why Our Revolution is going all-out to prevent right wing GOP Gov. Glenn Youngkin from picking up the ONE seat he needs to take control of the state Senate. Can we count on you to chip in now to fight back against Republican authoritarianism in Virginia on June 20th?

Just ONE seat in the Senate will make the difference on critical policies — like protecting reproductive health care — and hold extremism in check.
That’s why we’re working hard to elect candidates like Ben Litchfield for Virginia State Senate. Ben knows first-hand about poverty, hunger, and low wages, and he will be a fierce advocate for working people.
Early in Ben’s childhood, his family was ripped apart by the opioid crisis. His father, like many blue-collar workers, got hurt on the job and became addicted to prescription painkillers. When those became too expensive, he started using heroin. Being raised by a single mother shaped Ben’s views on issues like paid family leave, childcare subsidies, and the challenges that working parents face balancing work and home.
“One of my earliest memories is standing in line at the food pantry with my mother. But, like many working families, giving up was never an option,” Ben recalls.
“I am running for Virginia Senate because for too many, the American Dream feels like a broken promise. Despite a booming economy, it's hard for workers to find a job that pays a living wage, for families to afford housing in the communities where they work, and for our kids to receive a first-rate education.”
Early voting is underway and election day is June 20th! Make a donation today to help us mobilize voters for Ben and the rest of our progressive slate to stave off rightwing extremism and win real progressive policy change in Virginia.
When we organize, we win!
