Shockingly, each year, a staggering 50 billion chickens are raised and slaughtered for meat, with around 5 billion more kept for egg production. Species Unite President and Founder, Elizabeth Novogratz, will be joined by Karen Davis, Ph.D., the President and Founder of United Poultry Concerns (UPC), to help challenge our assumptions and inspire us to see these remarkable birds in a whole new light.
