Friend, rural and underserved communities require high-speed internet as much as everyone else – from small businesses, to students and families. But millions of Americans across the country still don't have access to affordable, reliable, and fast internet.
The bipartisan infrastructure law that Democrats passed and President Biden signed in 2021 put us one step closer to universal access – including a $1 billion investment right here in Michigan. But far too many Americans are still unable to access high-speed internet. That's why I've officially joined a bipartisan Senate working group to make sure that we're doing everything we can to ensure every home has access.
