No former president has ever been indicted (let alone twice!), but Donald Trump has broken precedent before.
Back in March, a grand jury of everyday New Yorkers voted to indict Trump on bribery and corruption charges dating back to 2016 for hush money payments.
Now, a grand jury of everyday Floridians voted to indict Trump on charges over his mishandling of classified material and his potential obstruction of the investigation. However, it is worth noting that a Trump-appointed judge who has previously ruled in Trump's favor has, at least for now, been appointed to oversee the case.
Prosecutors must follow the facts to get to the truth. And if convicted, the courts must treat Donald Trump like any other American.
