Samantha Poetter Parshall

Kansas State

Representative

Freedom is a fragile thing and it's never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by way of inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people.” - Ronald Reagan

First I’m a wife and mom, but most know me as State Representative Samantha Poetter Parshall. The district I represent encompasses the majority of Miami County, which includes Paola, Louisburg, and part of Osawatomie.

This past week I filed for school board in my hometown. I didn’t make a big deal out of it, but within hours of filing I already had the media calling.

It became clear that a handful of political insiders aren’t a fan of me being a State Representative and on the local school board - hence the media calling.

Then there were those who want the Republican Women to have a special delegate vote on the state committee, but have questioned how I can be a State Rep., member of the local school board, and a mom.

Well, I am a State Rep. and running for local school board BECAUSE I am a mom.

My parents immigrated to the United States shortly after they married. After living in New York and New Jersey, they moved to Kansas - which is where they ultimately decided they wanted to raise their children.

Growing up as a child of immigrants, I learned that America is truly the only place where if you have enough grit - you can achieve anything. But if we continue to stray from the principles our country was founded on, our children will be left with an overbearing government rather than the liberty our founders fought so hard for us to have.

We cannot continue to raise taxes and grow the government. We cannot allow mandates under the guise of safety. We cannot continue to throw money at a problem and expect better results.

I didn’t run for office to make a name for myself, I ran for office to fight to bring America back to the core principles it was founded on. Which is why any given evening during legislative session, you won’t find me out drinking with colleagues and lobbyists in Topeka - rather you’ll find me at home with my family.

Is it easy juggling it all? No. But if you’re a mom, you always find a way to do everything you can for your children.

“Bank Your Vote” Efforts Underway

“If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”

~ Martin Luther King Jr.

As the “Bank Your Vote” plan begins, please join us in taking advantage of voting early. If you have doubts about trusting ballot drop boxes or the US Mail, vote early IN PERSON. We must get in front of the advantage the Democrats have leveraged, and this is a solid first step in playing by the rules established by the Kansas Legislature.

Sign up now to see how this RNC initiative will work and to be included in the process as we take full advantage of all legal possibilities to win elections.

Democrats exploited this, and now we must beat them with their own strategy.

You can request the MLS application by emailing [email protected]

The MLS classes take place one Saturday each month beginning in June and ending in October. Typically, about 20 men participate. Some of these class members will be 2023 candidates for state and local offices.

The Series is intended to provide Kansas Republican men with a network and information to become or assist candidates who are filed or considering running for elected or appointed office. This series is not a one-size-fits-all indoctrination course for the Republican Party, but rather seeks to establish a common body of knowledge and expectations as well as a fraternal connection among its members.

July 22 Wichita - Social Issues and Local Government

August 26 Manhattan - Taxation and Spending

September 23 Johnson County - Elections

Conservatively Speaking

by

KSGOP Chairman

Mike Brown

Our government has clearly been secretly weaponized against Republicans, and specifically conservatives.

For a few decades, I’ve watched my government and its departments and agencies gradually become fully weaponized tools of intimidation and suppression controlled by Democrats.

Cases in point:

The IRS is used as an intimidation tool and a way to pry into a political adversary’s finances and personal life.

The EPA is used as a propaganda tool to advance a highly suspect agenda and is complicit in changing the phraseology from “global warming” to “climate change” in a brazen attempt to shift the narrative.

The DOE is pushing voluminous quantities of dollars at energy companies to decommission or convert to natural gas our coal-fired American electric power plants… and I highly suspect those energy companies got the wink-wink that a percentage of that money was to be targeted to Democrat candidates, and groups. Meanwhile, China and other nations are rapidly building new coal-fired plants because they are relatively inexpensive to construct. Additionally, the coal fuel source is readily available, and the electricity production is hyper-dependable vs. wind and solar.

The FBI secretly colluded with the Biden Administration and teacher unions, spying on Americans because they appeared at a school board meeting or attended a rally in our nation’s capital, Washington, DC. The FBI also conspired with social media companies to suppress “misinformation” like facts about masks, needles, the economic damage shutdowns would and did do to America, and the long-lasting negative impacts to our children and their education.

Our Federal Government for decades has threatened, bullied and shamed an untold number of Americans into political and vocal submission and they are taking that heavy-handed approach of intimidation into new and uncharted waters.

Indicting a past US President has never happened in American history until now.

The rationale has always been that to indict a past president would give the appearance of political retribution intentionally the making a past president a public spectacle and political prisoner. Common sense said this wouldn't be a good look for America, on or off our shores. But here we are.

And why now?

Could it be that there is also a story running right now about Joe Biden and Hunter Biden each receiving a $5,000,000.00 bribe from Barisma, the Ukrainian energy company? And is the FBI Director, Christoper Wray, stalling and slow-walking a Congressional oversight committee to protect the Biden’s from the committee reviewing a critical document that seems to have a lot of sudden importance to both sides relative to the Biden Crime Syndicate’s bribery allegations? The answer to these questions is yes.

As I see it, Pandora’s Box has been opened with this indictment which creates a fire-storm distraction to cover for the Biden family. America has taken a vast and regretful leap into Banana Republic territory. This tactic is not beneficial but rather serves to divide America ever-further.

The Bottom Line:

Our Government must de-weaponize itself and stand down to a genuinely neutral footing, dropping these ludicrous charges against Donald Trump. I hate to think of America in this light and the terrible projection that would be to the world, where both Trump and Biden are behind bars. The thought of that sickens me, and it should you too.

And mark my words, if this Trump indictment issue continues, this will end poorly on a hazardous two-way street.
