I wanted to thank you personally for standing with the LGBTQIA+ community this week and supporting the Do No Harm Act to address discrimination.
The Do No Harm Act and Equality Act advance the legal pathway to safety and equity. Beyond Washington, we must use our voices and our actions to stand up to homophobia, violence, and hate in our communities.
As a Congresswoman, I’m committed, but I can’t do this alone.
John, with Kevin McCarthy leading the House GOP, I worry about our ability to pass legislation that protects LGBTQIA+ Americans.
To pass and implement this legislation, we need a Democratic majority committed to protecting and expanding civil rights — not rolling them back. You can do your part to restore a Democratic majority by making a donation to our campaign.
