I have the great honor of serving on the Senate Armed Services Committee in Congress. We understand that with emerging threats happening on a global scale, it’s imperative that our military has all the possible resources they need. Unfortunately, while the Trump administration believed in peace through strength, our current President believes in appeasing our enemies. That is why our work on this committee is so critical. I am fighting to make sure our military remains the most efficient fighting force in the world to counter Joe Biden’s weakness abroad.

I discuss this and a whole lot more in this week’s Weekly Wrap Up, check it out by clicking the link below.

This week, I had the opportunity to visit with so many wonderful Oklahoma Future Farmers of America (FFA) students at the U.S. Capitol. For over 90 years, FFA has been providing students with leadership skills and career training to shape the future of agriculture in America. I was joined by Congressmen Frank Lucas and Josh Breechen to speak with these bright, young students. Thank you for meeting with us!

On Tuesday, we celebrated the 79th anniversary the turning point of World War II – D-Day. Some 156,000 Allied soldiers stormed the beaches of Normandy on that fateful day. May we never forget the bravery and sacrifice of the Greatest Generation and the freedoms they fought for.

"The eyes of the world are upon you. The hopes and prayers of liberty-loving people everywhere march with you." - Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower, June 6, 1944.

It’s always tough to leave Oklahoma for Washington D.C. – but this week was made a bit more special as I was joined by my wife Christie, and children Andrew, Larra, Lynette, and Ivy. While we missed Jim and Jayce at wrestling camp, we all had a great time meeting Oklahomans in my office and working on behalf of our great state.
