John, My parents taught me the importance of putting service above self. Their example led me to join the Air Force to serve my country, and later to pursue medicine to serve my community. Once again, I’m answering the call to serve by running for Congress. In Washington, I will work to create life-saving change by promoting gun safety, and healthcare affordability and accessibility. Will you join me in answering this call to service by contributing $32, $50, or whatever you can to my campaign today?
My life has been about public service, not politics, John. I decided to run for Congress after realizing that I could have a greater impact on my community through repairing systemic issues – not in the OR, but through policy. As a political appointee in Dallas, and as a policy advisor in Washington, D.C., I learned firsthand that real change is possible when we have leaders bold enough to take courageous action – and as a Veteran, trauma surgeon, and gun safety advocate, that’s exactly what I’ll do in Congress. With the many intersecting crises occurring in our country, I’m answering the call to serve. I will bring my frontline experience to Congress to address the source of preventable suffering and violence harming our communities, and to uplift all who seek a better life. I hope I can count on you to stand with me in this fight. Onward, Brian
