and what’s next

Whitehouse for Senate

Team,

When I first ran for Senate in 2006, I was really eager to fix some pretty ludicrous stuff in our government – particularly our health care system, which was not serving the American people. For many patients, the system was costing way too much while not delivering a lot of bang for the buck. Millions of people were shut out of health insurance altogether because of preexisting conditions.

Over the years, as we continued to improve our health care system, I began to grow concerned about something else: How our country is being creepily and quietly taken over by dark money and special interests, which are now basically funding the Republican Party. Those lurking forces are blocking large-scale action on climate change, gun safety, and so many issues that we need to address. I made it my goal to break their hold on our politics.

Which is why I’m asking for your support now. As my re-election campaign for 2024 gears up, the Republican dark money apparatus has put a target on my back. They’ll try to keep me out of the Senate so they can continue their dirty work. Can you chip in anything you can today to fight back?

During my time in the Senate, we’ve steadily gotten a lot of things fixed. We’ve made historic investments in our country’s infrastructure, taken important steps to prevent climate change, brought health care within reach for millions, lowered prescription drugs costs for seniors, and more.

But a lot is still in progress – from continuing to transform America’s health care system, to creating an enforceable code of ethics for SCOTUS, to protecting kids from gun violence.

The thing is, I can’t keep making progress if the dark money apparatus has its way. So please, team, can you contribute $5 so I can win in 2024 and continue my work in the Senate?

Thank you,

Sheldon
