We’re so lucky! 🍀
We have the most caring, encouraging, and uplifting supporters who champion Special Olympics athletes. This week we have read some inspiring messages of good luck to athletes as they start gearing up for the Special Olympics World Games in Berlin, Germany, next week!
We have absolutely LOVED reading notes of support —here are some of our favorites:
You’re an inspiration to me when I see all of you working so hard and always smiling. Don’t ever give up and tell yourself, yes, I can, because the more you try, the better you become at what you’re doing. - Patricia P., Pennsylvania
Strength doesn’t come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn’t. We are all so very proud of every single one of you. Now go out there and do your very best! But most importantly, HAVE FUN doing it! - Dion M., Florida
Your hard work has got you this far. I wish you happy travels and the best of luck as you compete in Berlin. Many people, including me, have your back and are proud of your accomplishments. - Randy N., Washington
On June 17, Jessy Lane will walk out to the crowd, cheering her name. She’ll be able to show the world how dedicated she is to the sport she loves as she goes for the GOLD!
Jessy doesn’t give up easily. Through steady and consistent training, she’s ready for her very first Special Olympics World Games golfing competition! Since starting with Special Olympics Northern California almost 20 years ago, Jessy has made the best of every putt and of every round.
Let’s show Jessy and all other competing athletes some love and wish them the best of luck at the Special Olympics World Games next week!
