This Week: At A Glance

Monday, Rep. Jen Kiggans (VA-02) thanked her spring interns for their hard work and prepared to welcome new summer interns to Washington, D.C. 

Tuesday, Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer (OR-05) hosted a tele-townhall to hear about the issues on Oregonians' minds. 

Wednesday, Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) visited with middle school students from Treynor, IA on the steps of the U.S. Capitol. 

Later on Wednesday, Reps. Jen Kiggans (VA-02) and Young Kim (CA-40) met with the Artemis II space crew. They will be the first astronauts to orbit the moon since 1972! 

In a Financial Services Committee hearing on Thursday, Rep. Young Kim (CA-40) asked what lessons had been learned in sanctioning Russia's invasion of Ukraine. China is watching what Russia is doing closely - and what the global repercussions are.
