John,
This is not the news we thought we’d be hearing.
“Turnout for the Iowa caucuses fell far short of expectations. The leading campaigns were prepared for as many as 300,000 people to show up... instead just 176,000 showed up. A lower-than-expected turnout for the caucuses has raised concerns that the grass-roots activism in the party may be waning after three years of battles with Washington.”

We understand that it’s exhausting fighting Trump’s bigoted, hateful agenda — but we can’t afford to slowdown this close to the election.
It’s more important than ever that we energize voters, remind them how much is at stake on the ballot in 2020, and make sure all of our hard work these past 3 years doesn’t go to waste.
Will you chip in $5 to fund our Get Out the Vote Program so we can have more conversations with undecided, women voters in battleground states and defeat Trump once and for all?

Honestly John, we also expected to see record numbers for voter turnout in Iowa.
But it goes to show that we can’t take this election for granted. We can’t expect that defeating Trump is a given or that enough people will step up to fight back — so it’s critical we put everything we have into preparing for November 3rd.
If we want to defeat Trump we need to reach out to the voters who voted for him who are now on the fence about who to support in 2020. That means knocking on doors, calling voters, running ads, and registering new voters – all of which takes time and resources.
If we want to defeat Trump we need to build a massive grassroots organizing strategy that can compete with his own corporate-backed campaign war chest.
And if we want to defeat Trump — it’s going to take all of us working together, chipping in whatever we can — even you John.
Please donate $5, $10, or whatever you can pitch in today so we can launch our Get Out The Vote program and invest in getting more women in battleground states to vote against Trump.
