Hey John,
Celebrated each year on June 19th, Juneteenth honors the day that 250,000 enslaved Texans learned their freedom had been secured by the Emancipation Proclamation — more than two full years after it was signed. Juneteenth is a celebration, but it is also a call to action. It’s on all of us to unite, honor, and continue the work of those before us who fought for Black lives, Black voices, and Black votes.
That’s why When We All Vote is hosting our Juneteenth Weekend of Action from Friday, June 16 to Monday, June 19, and calling on YOU to participate by organizing voter registration drives in your community! >>> [[link removed]]

Here’s how to get started:
✊🏾 Step 1: Select the place and time of your voter registration activity. You can work with local event organizers at your neighborhood Juneteenth celebration or bring our flyers to a cookout with friends. Whatever you’re doing for Juneteenth — make registering voters a key part of it!
✊🏾 Step 2: Use this page to tell us how you’re participating [[link removed]]. Be very specific about where and when you will register voters. Remember to include a Zoom link if your event is virtual!
✊🏾 Step 3: Download our Voter Registration Volunteer Guide. [[link removed]] These step-by-step instructions will tell you how to plan a voter registration activity and how to speak with voters!
✊🏾 Step 4: Report back to our team about how it all went [[link removed]]. Include your event details and how many voters you registered (even if that number is 0). This step is CRUCIAL and must be completed by every event host. If you are a My School Votes volunteer, use the MSV Report Back Form here [[link removed]].
✊🏾 Step 5: Don’t forget to take photos of your great work! Share on social media using the hashtag #WhenWeAllVote [[link removed]] and tag our team @WhenWeAllVote [[link removed]] in your post!
