Dear John,
This week I’ve sent you a couple urgent updates about the effort to protect kids from radical transgender hormones and surgeries. And now I have yet another piece of amazing news to share with you – and another request for your help.
The first update was that the top LGBT activist group Human Rights Campaign has blamed Family Policy Alliance for a “national state of emergency” because of the incredible number of legislative victories we have seen this year, especially with FPA’s Help Not Harm bills passing in states across the country.
This might not sound like good news at first, but it is – and here’s why: You can tell the quality of your work, in part, by who opposes you. HRC actively supports:
* Irreversible procedures that leave children permanently harmed.
* Forcing women and girls to compete with biological men. And they believe that if you feel you were born in the wrong body, you should be
* Pumping bodies full of unnatural hormones and having healthy body parts surgically removed
If Family Policy Alliance poses any threat to those dangerous ideas, then we’re proud to be on their list.
Though HRC meant to blame us (and you!), what they’ve really done is highlight the impact that your faithful prayers, financial partnership and contacting your legislators is having.
They are also giving a backhanded compliment to the work that FPA with our state and national allies – especially the Family Policy Councils – have been doing over the past several years.
That coordinated work leads to the second update, which is that Help Not Harm bills in 18 states are now protecting about 82,300 vulnerable children – who need true help, not harm! This is nothing short of miraculous and you deserve the credit and thanks for helping get these bills across the finish line this legislative session.
And this brings me to the latest update – which is that two more states are on the brink of passing Help Not Harm bills, perhaps even before the end of the month. That would bring the total to 20 states protecting kids from radical transgender interventions.
All of these updates are good news, and represent huge opportunities – but only if we’re able to seize them together.
The reality is that more than 217,000 vulnerable children live in states without these protections and need your help today.
This is the true “national state of emergency” – but thankfully we can do something about it together:
* Help engage strongly in upcoming states with your gift of $50, $100 or even $500 or more. You’ll be helping to mobilize citizens, put boots on the ground to testify in state capitols, train lawmakers and advocates and much more.

* If the Lord has greatly blessed you, please consider a transformational gift that will allow us to expand our team and multiply our communication to the American people. Your visionary gift will shape the debate, even in difficult states.

We’re winning —and HRC knows it. But the work is not done. Will you fuel our tanks and keep the momentum going?

P.S. Eighteen states have protected children from radical transgender hormones and surgeries, and two more are poised to do the same. But more than 217,000 vulnerable children in states without a Help Not Harm bill still need your help. Please give as generously as you can to keep the momentum going today!
