I need to ask you to make a donation to my campaign today, but first I want to share why your support and tomorrow’s deadline are so important for us.

Tomorrow is the final FEC deadline before our primary. After we close the books, we will both have to publicly share our full fundraising reports one last time. This is a big moment for us to show our grassroots strength.

The corporate special interests backing Henry Cuellar are going to be looking closely at our report. They’re going to be deciding whether or not we’ll be able to compete with their unlimited sums of money.

If they see any signs of weakness, outside groups like the U.S. Chamber of Commerce could decide to dump even more dark money into this race to try to drown us out at the last minute.

That’s why we need to show them that we have what it takes to compete with whatever they throw our way. If we hit our deadline goal, we’ll send a powerful message that these corporations are no match for our grassroots movement. So I need to ask:

Will you make a $3 donation to our campaign right now to help us hit our goal before tomorrow’s official FEC deadline? We cannot let corporate PACs and outside special interests buy this seat for Henry Cuellar any longer.
