John, it's been nearly a year since the conservative-packed Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade – a decision that has already put the health and safety of women across this country in serious jeopardy. 

Anti-abortion extremists have made it clear that they're not stopping here though, John. For years they claimed that this should be a “states’ rights” issue, but far-right Republicans have already introduced a national abortion ban that would take away a woman’s right to choose in every corner of this country. 

Thanks to our Democratic Senate majority, we can stop this dangerous ban from being passed. But anti-abortion extremists are going even further now by trying to ban the abortion pill nationwide with a lawsuit in Texas. 

Let me be clear, John, these extremists are trying to control women’s bodies. That's why, right now, I am reaffirming my commitment to push back every step of the way, and I need to know that top Democrats like you are with me:
