I know we've been sending a lot of emails this week -- but it's because this matters.

Our climate matters. Our future matters. And the cavalry's not coming -- no one else is going to save us. We must step up and save ourselves from climate change.

I don't take money from fossil fuel executives. I don't bank on huge donations from special interests who can curry my favor. They're hoping we fall short of the DNC's criteria to make the fall debates, and they might get their wish -- unless you step up now.

We have a post-debate goal of 10,000 donations, and we've seen an incredible swell of support. We only need 2,897 more to hit our goal: Will you donate $1 or more before our midnight deadline?
