Folks, this is the cold hard truth:

No state in the country will have more of its real estate and infrastructure impacted by climate change than Florida -- which means we have the most to lose if our leaders in Washington don’t act to combat this existential threat. 

In Congress, Debbie has fought hard to encourage solutions to build more sustainable and clean energy sources and for a pro-climate agenda that meets the targets set by the Paris Climate Agreement.

Her new GOP opponent, on the other hand, refused to cross his golf buddy, Donald Trump, by staying silent when he pulled us out of the Paris Climate Agreement.

As the mayor of Miami-Dade, our opponent has already proven he is indifferent to the environment. He has been slow to respond to sea level rise that threatens our communities. And he's done nothing to address the deadly red tide and even fecal matter in our oceans, which causes Miami's beaches to be unusable and puts people's lives at risk.
