I am reaching out to you with an urgent request: we just received a new cohort of DPNM interns and we need your support to help sustain them and our internship program . [[link removed]] This program helps elect Democrats and benefits a new generation of young folks ready to get engaged in Democratic politics. By investing in these passionate young leaders, we are cultivating a pipeline of dedicated individuals who will stop at nothing to help protect Democratic values and elect Democrats who will stand up for everyone.

Our interns are consistently going above and beyond to advance the Party forward and preserve our values in New Mexico. From setting up events and managing data to supporting staff and DPNM Officers, DPNM interns drive the Party forward on all fronts– and they deserve to be compensated fairly for their hard work. However, maintaining our internship program requires resources that we, frankly, don’t have year-round. The bulk of our fundraising only comes from election years when the stakes are perceived to be higher. But, as Chairwoman of DPNM, I know that the reality is this: the stakes are ALWAYS high and fundraising is always CRUCIAL , especially when we need to sustain such an important program as our intern program.
