So I was over the moon when I learned that the Supreme Court voted to strike down Alabama’s illegal Congressional map today.

But I need you to understand: This opinion isn’t just about Alabama -- this is about the future of our democracy.

The Court’s ruling paves the way for fairer, more representative maps all across the South -- potentially creating FOUR or MORE new Democratic House seats.

And with just FIVE seats standing between us and a Democratic Majority, we’re closer than we’ve ever been to defeating the GOP’s grip on power.
