John,

The Washington State Legislative Session is underway and our state elected officials are in Olympia now making decisions on legislation and a budget that will directly affect our state. As constituents, we can’t always make the trip to Olympia to have our voice heard on the issues we care most about. That’s why it’s important that legislators hold meetings in their districts to hear from the people they represent—that means you!

Some of these in-district town halls are already scheduled but other legislators might need some pressure to get one scheduled. Check here to see if you have a town hall scheduled in your district and either attend or take a quick action to let your legislators know you want them to schedule a town hall. [[link removed]]

Attending town halls is a great way to make your voice heard. Whether you think your legislators are doing a good job or a bad job, it’s important for them to know their constituents are paying attention and will keep the pressure on!

This is our chance to hear from our legislators about the issues being addressed and debated in Olympia, and ensure our legislators are representing their community. Ask your legislators to schedule a town hall today! [[link removed]]

Onward,
