The president has falsely promised time and time again to protect Social Security and Medicare. His budget released this week also includes sharp reductions for children's health insurance, environmental protection, and ending the public service student loan repayment program.

john: President Trump's policies have made life harder for Tennesseans.

Not only has Trump threatened the future of Social Security and Medicare, he's already tried to take away health care from thousands of hardworking Tennesseans at a time when our state struggles with rampant rural hospital closures and the opioid epidemic.

Trump isn't looking out for us. I'm in this race to fight for all Tennesseans -- plain and simple.
