Dear John,
Target is continuing to go after children.
As you know, some of the corporation's merchandise has caught national attention, but the company is also targeting innocent children in the womb.
After Roe v. Wade was overturned, the corporation announced it would cover the travel expenses of employees in pro-life states to go out of state for an abortion.
By pushing abortion instead of policies that actually empower families, Target is using abortion to the benefit of its bottom line.
Over 40,000 people have signed our petition to tell Target to stop targeting innocent children in the womb. Add your name now to tell Target to stop using your money to pay for abortions. Click here: [link removed] ([link removed] )
Target reportedly offers eight weeks of paid maternity leave. Those costs include salary and taxes for a non-working employee who may need to be temporarily replaced.
This cost for Target, however, would be eliminated with one out-of-state trip for an abortion. Companies with pro-abortion policies, like Target, have readily jumped in to pay for airfare, hotels, and dining expenses to push women into abortions.
By footing the bill for this one-time “solution,” big corporations can simply wash their hands of responsibility, eliminate the cost of parental leave and, at times, childcare, and avoid offering working parents the flexibility they may need.
It’s a fact that abortion is a benefit to the bottom line of big businesses.
We, however, are demanding companies to step it up.
It’s time for big corporations like Target to do better for women, children, and families.
It’s time for businesses to empower working mothers and fathers rather than offering to kill their children as a "solution."
I hope you’ll join me in sending this message to Target and corporate America by adding your name to the petition. We will be sending these signatures directly to Target’s headquarters: [link removed] ([link removed] )
