Dear Friends,

School might be out soon, but German is always in - check out our current offerings of in-person and online courses for summer 2023!

This Sunday, June 11, we will present our next Jazz@Goethe concert in our space, featuring vocalist and flutist Alex Hamburger and pianist José Luiz Martins. As a duo, Hamburger and Martins explore many different styles through a very interactive approach to composing and performing. Being from Washington, DC, and São Paulo, Brazil, respectively, Hamburger and Martins pull from myriad influences, creating a unique and intercultural repertoire.

Next Tuesday, June 13, we will host Palestinian-Syrian poet Ghayath Almadhoun, who is currently a fellow at the Thomas Mann House in Southern California. Almadhoun will present three of his acclaimed poetry films, and read selections from his repertoire.
