New on TeachableMoment & our Blog Juneteenth & the Importance of History Students learn about Juneteenth, share family histories, and explore resources on the holiday and current efforts to erase aspects of American history and the role of Black people in it. Celebrating Pride: The Stonewall Rebellion Students find out about three activists who are credited with starting the Stonewall Rebellion that launched the modern LGBTQ+ liberation movement. Yes They Can: Students with Disabilities in Circle (video/post) Many people believe that young students or students with disabilities can’t participate in community-building circles. These students prove them wrong. SEL Tip: Working with Students’ Excess Energy (Spring Fever) During the last few weeks of school, we and our students often struggle to stay focused. And yet there is still work to be done. Try these steps to keep students engaged (and yourself sane) as summer approaches.
