John, Donald Trump is out with his first big presidential TV ad — and within the first second, I’m who he’s going after:

Trump is still coming after me for impeaching him and prosecuting him in his Senate trial: He hates that I worked to hold him accountable for multiple egregious abuses of power — and he has a score to settle with me. And he certainly doesn’t want me in the Senate standing up to his cronies there.

Bizarre? Yes, but it goes to show just how dangerous Trump thinks I am to his goal: Winning this election and continuing to tear apart our democracy to serve his own corrupt self-interest.

This is just the start of Trump’s attacks against me personally. He went after me again, and again, and again during the midterms.

He attacked me by name at his MAGA rallies.

He repeatedly smeared me on his social media website.

After calling me a traitor during his presidency and saying there used to be a way of dealing with traitors.

Now, he’s sending a signal to every MAGA Republican that I’m Public Enemy No. 1 — so I need your help to fight back.
